Job Req Number: 103334Time Type: Full TimeWould you like a new role that is a great mix of routine and development tasks?As our new financial controller, you will use all your experience to design how we consolidate our financial reporting. And at the same time, you will get to leave your numbers bubble and try your hands at ESG reporting.“While the ESG reporting is more administrative, it does involve interacting with and managing stakeholders, which will give you a wide network across DSV companies and countries – even outside of finance,” says Martin Grauballe, Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting & Finance.Join us in Corporate Accounting & Finance Situated within Group Finance, you will meet 40 colleagues based in Denmark and Poland. Together, we are responsible for financial reporting, controlling and ESG reporting for all DSV Corporate companies.”Things move fast in DSV – also in our team. We’re never bored, and we make sure each person has the flexibility needed to best solve their tasks,” explains Martin.Split your time between ESG and financial reportingYour time will be split approximately 50/50 between ESG reporting and financial reporting. Initially, some focus will be on integrating newly acquired Schenker into all our processes.ESG reporting will be on our own fleet as well as social and governance, property, legal, tax, health and safety, and include a good amount of stakeholder management, data validation, and secure documentation.You will be the only colleague on this task, as you:Follow up with stakeholders on reported data and answer Group Sustainability’s and auditors’ questions.Ensure that the newly integrated Corporate entities follow the DSV requirements and assist in implementing the reporting structure and understanding guidelinesAs for financial reporting, you will ensure timely reporting from all Corporate entities as well as:Prepare presentations of monthly financials, budgets, and forecasts for senior managementReview and optimize existing business processes, ensuring full oversight and execution of agreed tasks within Corporate Accounting & FinanceMaintain, update and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across relevant functionsOverall, you will continuously ensure that we optimize our processes and reporting, so we work smarter. And you will get to use your operational experience to look at how we consolidate our monthly accounting and integrate the newly integrated Corporate entities into our processes.Want to use your experience to create a solid workflow?You thrive in a supportive role where you contribute consistently to creating a solid workflow.
