We’re exclusively partnered with a leading FMCG business as we recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Financial Controller into this permanent role.About the Company:<£100m revenue, c.100 employees in a well-run and longstanding businessCollaborative, energetic and fast-paced environmentThe UK’s market leader, and well positioned to continue to scaleThe role:Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is pivotal to the organisation and takes complete control of the management accounts, P&L’s, reporting and process improvements within finance, whilst also being the main point of contact at year end for the Auditors. We’re looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated Accountant who is comfortable with their technical knowledge and who will lead and motivate a team to drive process improvements across the finance function.Key Responsibilities:Lead month end and year end close processes – accruals, prepayments, depreciation, provisionsWorking capital management to include the multi-currency cash flow alongside planning and cash depositsComplete VAT Returns, corporation tax payments, duty deferment reconciliations and HMRC processesProduce board packs and management accounts for the Directors and Shareholders with commentary and top line analysis (GP, Stock, Cashflow)Drive continual improvement through regular review of process and development of existing and new platformsPrepare budgets and re-forecasts and maintain and develop the bespoke platforms usedWorking closely with the Commercial Finance team, a rolling GP Review including review of customer account plans and necessary GP adjustmentLiaise with external auditors and lead the annual audit to produce statutory accounts and coordinate information requestsManage, mentor, motivate and appraise a team of six staffOversee the management of AP, AR and Accounts MarketingThe Ideal Candidate:Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 5 years’ experience within similar positionsExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.Intermediate Excel (Pivot/VLOOKUP).Understanding of how data can be used to drive business performanceProven record of managing staff members to high levels of individual performanceAbility to build relationships internally with stakeholders of varying levelsWhat they Offer:Competitive salary: £75,000 - £80,000Performance-based bonus up to 10%6% Pension scheme25 days + bankHybrid Working (3 days in)How to Apply:We want to hear from you if you're excited about this opportunity and believe you have what it takes to excel in this role.
