Job DescriptionJoin a global financial leader and help drive Thailand’s finance agenda. Make an impact by leading financial reporting, regulatory engagement with the Bank of Thailand and SEC Thailand, and governance for key legal entities in a dynamic market. We are seeking Financial Controller Associate who partners across teams and regions to deliver critical outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Product Control, Business Management, Tax, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Internal and External Audit to execute key deliverables.As a Financial Controller Associate, you will oversee legal entity activities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results and statements. You will deliver Thai regulatory, financial, and management reporting, and support balance sheet and capital management. You will drive process innovation and automation, shape the Finance networking agenda, and present business process enhancements in key forums. You will collaborate closely with Product Control, Business Management, Tax, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Internal and External Audit to execute key deliverablesJob ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze regulatory financial reports for J.P. Morgan Thailand legal entities, aligned with Bank of Thailand and SEC Thailand requirements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.Prepare and review BOT Regulatory Reporting, including FXNOP, Basel, SLL, ICAAP and FM report. Design and automate process improvements to enhance speed, quality, and control.Develop concise financial and statistical presentation materials for Thailand and regional Management and Board Committees.Provide actionable financial metrics and insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.Maintain a strong internal control environment to ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting.Lead ad hoc projects leveraging automation and digital solutions.Partner with lines of business to design and implement robust controls, supporting new initiatives and change management.Investigate and fulfill ad hoc requests for financial data and analysis from the Bank of Thailand, SEC Thailand, and internal management.Optimize the existing technology stack through automation and adopt innovative tools where appropriate.Coordinate stakeholder meetings and prepare agendas, materials, and discussion pointsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related disciplineBroad understanding of banking products and familiarity with current Thailand regulatory guidelines and policiesStay current on accounting standards; assess impacts and ensure compliant implementationEffective communicator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills; able to convey complex information clearly and conciselyStrong quantitative and analytical skills with excellent attention to detailCollaborative team player with a partnership mindsetStrong problem-solving skillsProactive, with a strong delivery focus and ownership mindsetProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with business process automation tools (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx)Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsThailand local regulatory reporting knowledge and experience Experience in project handling, and automation/digital solution implementation Professional qualification e.g., Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CFA)5-7 years of experience in audit, accounting, Regulatory Reporting in banking, or the finance industryABOUT USJ.P.
