We are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki since 2001.This is an opportunity for you to join CapMan as a fixed-term Controller as part of the Real Estate finance team in Helsinki or Jyväskylä.About the teamIn CapMan Real Estate we execute both value add and stable income-focused investment strategies across all major property sectors in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Our active value-add funds seek to acquire transitional properties in the most liquid Nordic markets where an asset can be enhanced by active rental and cost management, investments in redevelopment, change of use, or repositioning. Our funds and mandates targeting stable income focuses on well-located, high-quality investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors across market cycles. Our Nordic Real Estate operations include approximately 80 committed real estate investment professionals. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and value creation, we have established a solid reputation for delivering exceptional results and are dedicated to driving superior returns for our investors.In this role you will work with financial reporting and administration of CapMan’s real estate funds and real estate investments in the Nordic countries. You will be part of a highly skilled CapMan Real Estate finance team with over 20 professionals. Your location can be either in our Helsinki or Jyväskylä office and in your role, you’ll have a chance to work with colleagues from all CapMan locations.About the roleYou will have a versatile role within financial management and reporting of real estate investments. Your role includes e.g. following tasksConsolidation and group reporting of the named real estate portfolios managed by CapMan Real Estate.Overall responsibility and ownership of financial reporting processes related to named real estate portfolios and investments.Managing audit processes and management reporting.Assisting investment and asset management teams in property acquisition and disposal processes, including participation in due diligence processes and taking over acquired properties.Providing decision-making support to investment and asset management teams to plan and execute value creation initiatives.Participation in developing CapMan Real Estate's reporting processes, systems, and other financial administration processes.Who you areYou are detail-oriented but also capable of seeing the bigger picture. You have a hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure well, and enjoy working as part of a team. You’re proactive, communicative, and comfortable working in a matrix organisation.To be successful in this role we believe that the following skills and experience will help you;Demonstrated experience from financial accounting and reportingGood understanding on consolidated financial statements and group reportingUnderstanding IFRS principles and reportingFamiliarity with tax legislation (CIT, VAT, RE related taxes)Relevant experience from similar or corresponding tasks (e.g. from financial controlling or from big four audit firm).Experience in accounting information and reporting systems. Experience in real estate and real estate funds is appreciated but not mandatory.You hold a university degree from a relevant field of study (accounting, finance, business administration).
