Our client is expanding its footprint and investing in cutting‑edge technologies to meet rising market demand.The Opportunity As Financial Controller based in Lagos, you will be the “go‑to” business partner for site and group teams, translating complex financial data into actionable insights. You’ll report directly to the Group CFO and work closely with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to ensure robust financial oversight and strategic support.Key ResponsibilitiesLead preparation of weekly sales reports and monthly management accounts for all chemical product lines.Develop rolling forecasts, interim updates and annual budgets (cash, sales, working capital, gross margins).Conduct deep‑dive analyses into product, segment and customer profitability; explain variances vs. budget and prior year.Partner with Sales, Operations and Supply‑Chain teams on pricing strategies, cost‑control initiatives and ad‑hoc financial modeling.Leverage BI tools (Power BI essential; Tagetik or equivalent a plus) to extract, visualize and present data to stakeholders.Provide early‑warning alerts and high‑quality, presentation‑ready commentary on key performance drivers and chemical‑sector trends.What We’re Looking ForQualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAN or equivalent) with ≥ 5 years’ experience in an SME chemical‑manufacturing or related industrial environment.Expert-level Excel and Power BI skills; familiarity with Tagetik, Hyperion, TM1 or Prophix.Strong analytical mindset: able to link financial metrics to chemical‑production KPIs and challenge assumptions.Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of engaging senior technical and commercial stakeholders.Self‑motivated problem solver who thrives under tight deadlines and a regulated environment.Why Join Us?Be part of an ambitious growth journey in the dynamic African chemical market.Work with an international leadership team and directly influence key business and investment decisions.Competitive compensation package, plus opportunities for professional development and certification sponsorship.Apply Now Interested candidates, please submit your CV via LinkedIn Easy Apply.
