Financial Controller

Disclaimer: this role is based in Węgrów, in a hybrid model. Commuting (Warsaw-Węgrów) support provided.We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented Financial Controller to join our team. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Head of Finance, and will be the first Controller in the organization. The successful candidate will build and shape the function, providing strategic financial oversight and ensuring robust financial controls within our growing production company.The Financial Controller will act as a trusted advisor to management, supporting key business decisions through accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights. This role requires a hands-on, solutions-driven professional with experience in production or manufacturing environments, who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, contributing to a high-performing and financially sound business.Scope of Responsibilities:Developing, administering, and continuously monitoring budgets as well as budget revisionsPreparing management reports and conducting advanced financial analysesManaging cost structures and driving initiatives to enhance the company’s economic performanceCalculating manufacturing costs and determining optimal sales pricingPerforming detailed analyses of production settlementsMonitoring and reconciling material lossesPlanning and overseeing capital expenditureDefining, implementing, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organizationSupporting the executive team in strategic and operational decision-makingCollaborating with internal and external stakeholdersConducting internal controls to ensure compliance and process integrityRequirements:University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentProfessional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent will be considered an assetExcellent command of the English languageAbility to design and implement new financial and operational solutionsStrong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindsetResults-oriented approach and ability to work independently
