Financial Controller

Our client is a growing private company that boasts excellent long-term career prospects across a growing sector. Due to significant growth they are currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller.Reporting to the CFO, this position will sit as part of the management team and will be responsible for the overall financial management of key operations. Responsibilities will include setting overall financial policy and ensuring procedures and systems are achieving best practice and overseeing financial control. A key driver to the success of this position is your ability to set systems in place that support the business for future growth and success.You will also provide timely and accurate financial reporting and tax compliance as well as manage financial risk, forecast changes, and devise proactive solutionsCurrently engaged in a similar position in a progressive environment you will have a track record of success, be able to demonstrate considerable commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships at all levels. Experience in a utilities, mining or industrial environment would be a distinct advantage as would exposure to major global sales and contract administration.The ideal background is a CA (audit/business services/corporate finance) or a CPA from a commercial background with a personal style that displays leadership in an at times challenging and ambiguous environment.If this sounds like you apply below.
