Financial Controller

DescriptionThe CompanyFounded in New Zealand in 2017, Timescapes is a hardware enabled SaaS business that is transforming how construction teams build — helping them work faster, safer, and smarter without compromising on quality or environmental consciousness. The RoleThe hands on Financial Controller will be the face of Finance and take ownership of all financial operations as the company scales globally. This pivotal role will manage everything from day-to-day accounting through to forecasting, financial strategy and insights. Initially, working closely with the fractional Finance partner, Oxygen Advisors, with a plan to bring these responsibilities in-house as the finance team grows.Key responsibilities will include the following (but not limited to):Lead full-cycle accounting operationsManage forecasting, budgeting, and cashflow planningPrepare monthly management reports and board reporting supportImplement and optimise financial systems, tools and processesEnsure compliance, tax filings and regulatory obligations are metProvide insights and analysis on financial performance vs budgetSupport commercial decision-making, pricing and contract analysis for customer dealsOversee customer billing, receivables and SaaS revenue reportingManage insurance programmes and equity administrationPartner with leadership on fundraising activities and investor reportingWhat We’re Looking For8+ years’ progressive accounting experience, ideally in high-growth or SaaS environments, but not essentialChartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification preferredStrong technical accounting and financial modelling capabilityExcellent communication skills and ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environmentExperience with equity management and investor relations is a plusIf this opportunity is of interest, please submit your CV by following the link below.
