Financial Controller

INGROUP, is currently seeking on behalf of its client, a company in the field of automotive, a ,Financial Controller Role: As a Financial Controller you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and strong internal controls, while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.Key duties and responsibilities:Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.Monitor cars’ and spare parts’ stock aging, conduct detailed analysis, and propose commercial offers that optimize financial results.Manage the full month-end and year-end closing processes.Oversee the preparation of all internal and external financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) in accordance with IFRS or Greek GAAP.Lead the development of the company’s annual budget and rolling financial forecasts.Collaborate closely with department heads—especially Sales (per brand) and After-Sales (spare parts)—to support and monitor their specific budgets.Establish, document, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and customs regulations, as well as all financial reporting requirements.Monitor and manage daily cash flow, taking into account factory loading programs from ports.Optimize banking relationships and oversee treasury-related activities. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in FinanceMaster's degree (MBA) , CPA or ACCA is considered as an asset3+ years of experience on the same position and 5+ years as financial or business analyst4+ years of experience in automotive sector Deep knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principalsAdvanced proficiency in ERP systems (SOFTONE, or/and SAP) and in data analysis tools (BI)Knowledge and use of AI toolsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to consistently meet deadlinesWhat we offer:Competitive salaryCompany carMobile phone Bonus schemeCollaborative and inclusive work culture
