The company supplies into major national retailers and is entering an exciting stage of expansion, with growing demand and increased operational complexity driving the need for a strong financial leader.About the RoleThe Controller will oversee all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting operations, leading a capable team and ensuring the business has the financial infrastructure to support growth. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and implement best practices across accounting, controls, and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and reporting.Manage and mentor a growing accounting team, fostering professional development and accountability.Oversee month-end and year-end close, financial statements, and audits.Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Implement process improvements and system enhancements to support scalability.Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls.About YouBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA required.7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally within CPG, manufacturing, or food & beverage.Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and ERP systems.Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build and guide a growing team.Confident communicator and business partner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-scaling environment.This is a great opportunity to join a well-established yet entrepreneurial business that’s continuing to expand its footprint with leading retailers.
