Thanks to the agile way of working, the synergies between the teams, and our diversity, UNIQA is a unique organization with one team, one strategy and one culture.Responsibilities:You will be responsible for coordinating the Financial Accounting Department and ensuring that current activities are carried out in accordance with legal provisions and internal regulations.You will be responsible for preparing/reviewing financial and technical reports required by state authorities and the Uniqa Group in accordance with applicable legislation and reporting deadlines.You will develop, propose, and implement policies, procedures, and instructions regarding financial and accounting activities.You will monitor financial transactions carried out through banks.You will participate in company-wide projects involving financial activities and process optimization and automation.You will coordinate the execution of internal and external audits.You will be responsible for calculating tax obligations and ensuring the preparation/review of declarations in compliance with legal deadlines.You will provide guidance, direction, and motivation to employees under your supervision.Qualification:Good knowledge of IFRS reporting;Familiarity with Solvency II is an advantage;Strong understanding of local tax obligations in accordance with the Romanian Fiscal Code;Experience in preparing local statutory financial statements;Higher education in a relevant field;Previous experience: at least 2 years in the financial/accounting/tax field within the insurance sector and at least 5 years in a management position;Advanced level of English;Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.At UNIQA, we place people at the center of all our efforts and encourage diversity.
