About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Financial Crimes Specialist within our Americas Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) team. This role is for a vacancy in our Toronto, Ontario office. This role will report to the Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer (CAMLO) who also serves as the Deputy Head of Americas FCRM.In This Role, You WillBe responsible for providing direct support to the Americas FCRM leadership team in managing the Americas FCRM Program and strategic initiatives in the Americas RegionWork with the lines of business and Financial Crimes Operations to ensure they have developed effective processes and controls to meet both corporate and/or local legal and regulatory requirementsPartner with the Americas FCRM leadership to manage a comprehensive and unified financial crimes program across the Americas RegionProvide support for the following areas including but not limited to suspicious transaction reporting (STR) to FINTRAC, policies and procedures, and preparing various committee and management reportingAssist with the management of reporting, communication, and committee processes for the Americas FCRM team, inclusive of program developments, project status, industry topics and collaboration activitiesAssist with development and maintenance of internal procedures and other documentationEnsure coordination with the Enterprise functions on matters and risksProvide materials for management updates to regulators, Internal Audit, senior governance forums, and Regional management, as required.Required Qualifications:2+ years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experienceDesired Qualifications:Previous experience engaged in complex AML/Financial Crimes issues across multiple international jurisdictionsPrevious experience with risk and controlsStrong verbal and written communication skills (e.g., prepare presentations, management reporting) with the ability to communicate effectively with employees of varying levelsEffective at building and strengthening internal and external working relationships with proven success collaborating with partners across the organizationEffective critical thinking skills and statistical analysisAbility to work on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneouslyDemonstrated project management skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentAbility to track large volumes of activities across multiple projects and groupsAbility to incorporate multiple data sources and develop strategies/operational processesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsCertified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or other recognized AML/Financial Crimes certificationsJob Expectations:Ability to work on-site at the posted work locationThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipPosting End Date:23 Oct 2025Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
