This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsSalary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 4800000 (ie INR 15-48 LPA)Min Experience: 2 yearsLocation: Bengaluru, KolkataJobType: full-timeAs a Financial Due Diligence professional, you will be responsible for leading financial reviews of target companies to identify opportunities, risks, and potential deal-breakers. You will analyze historical financial performance, assess the quality of earnings, working capital requirements, and evaluate return on investment for prospective transactions. This role requires strong technical expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and reporting, coupled with the ability to present findings to senior management and clients in a clear, actionable manner. You'll play a key role in supporting buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements within the broader Transaction Advisory framework.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence (FDD) on target companies, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysisAssess EBITDA normalization, working capital trends, and potential deal adjustmentsEvaluate ROI (Return on Investment) and overall transaction value for both buy-side and sell-side mandatesIdentify financial risks, opportunities, and synergies related to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactionsPrepare and present detailed due diligence reports and executive summaries highlighting key findings and recommendationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Transaction Advisory, including tax, legal, and valuation expertsSupport clients in understanding deal implications, pricing strategies, and post-transaction integration challengesDevelop and maintain robust financial models to support valuation and decision-makingReview and validate financial statements, management reports, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliabilityContribute to the development of due diligence frameworks and best practices to improve engagement quality and efficiencyWhat Makes You a Great Fit:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related disciplineProfessional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA (Finance) preferredMinimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, or M&A consultingStrong understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, and valuation principlesProven experience analyzing EBITDA adjustments, Net Working Capital, and profitability trendsExcellent financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and presentation abilities with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and clientsDetail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlinesA proactive mindset with an interest in business strategy, deal-making, and value creation
