Our mission is to break down financial barriers and foster global economic connectivity.Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Financial Institution Business Development to drive our growth and expansion in the Japanese market. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with key financial institutions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive negotiator with a deep understanding of the Japanese financial landscape and a proven track record in payment partnerships.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for collaborating with international banks, local Japanese banks, and card organizations to implement strategic cooperation plans that meet the company's high standard commercial requirements.Lead the negotiation and coordination with major payment companies and financial service providers to secure and optimize payment channels and solutions for the Japanese market.Collaborate with the internal banking partnership team to manage and complete end-to-end cooperation projects with financial institutions.Partner closely with internal Compliance, Risk Control, and Legal departments to ensure all partnerships with financial institutions adhere to Japanese regulatory requirements (JFSA, FSA) and complete all necessary compliance processes.Work closely with the regional BD team and global product team to translate merchant needs and market demands into tailored financial solutions for the Japanese market.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Business, or a related field. Native or Business Proficiency in Japanese is mandatory. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in business development, partnership management, or a similar role within the finance, payment, or international business sectors. Direct experience in the Japanese financial services or payments industry is highly preferred.Possess mature business acumen and exceptional negotiation skills. Must demonstrate a stable, professional demeanor and the ability to effectively manage and grow long-term business relationships with prestigious financial institutions.Excellent cross-departmental communication and project management skills. Able to independently identify and solve complex internal and external challenges, propose effective solutions, and execute them efficiently.
