Financial Manager

You will follow the requirements defined by the Financial Department in conjunction with the greater Sakata group.What will you do?Responsibility of financial reporting – local & international.Managing of the local Financial Department personnelPreparing & management of the year end audit packs according to IFRS requirements and liaising with auditorsCompletion of tax- and statutory returnsPerforming the company secretarial functionConducting Internal Audits and ensuring compliance with J-Sox.Management of the credit control functionManaging the preparation of the budgets and forecastsInvestigating and commenting on variances against budget / forecast and liaising with management in this regard.Managing Capital expenditure and the Asset registersConsulting with customers and distributors, as required.Compiling and managing adherence to Financial Policies and ProceduresPart of the executive management teamWhere will you work?You will be based in Lanseria, just west of Johannesburg.You will be joining a dynamic, multicultural team.Do you fit this profile? You have:Experience in managing a Financial DepartmentStrong IT skills ( ERP / Microsoft advanced )Internal audit experience, preferably familiar with J-Sox requirementsStrong working knowledge and experience in costing (preferably gained in a manufacturing environment).Experience working according to IFRSA valid driver’s licenseYou are:Qualified CA with at least 5 years’ experience in a commercial environment during which experience in preparing management accounts, compiling financial reports, dealing with tax and statutory returnsAble to work under pressureProfessionalAnalyticalAble to work within deadlines, with good personal time managementA team player who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate within the team and with other departmentsDo you want to know more about the company?You will be part of Sakata’s South African Financial team.
