Their growing portfolio in Korea and the wider region positions them as a key contributor to sustainable energy growth in Asia.Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeller to join the team in Seoul. This role will focus on supporting solar project development, financing, and M&A activities across Korea and Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining advanced financial models, conducting due diligence, and providing strategic insights to support investment decisions and business growth.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Modelling:Develop and maintain early-stage screening and late-stage financial models tailored for utility-scale solar projects.Conduct sensitivity analyses and provide financial insights to inform strategic and investment decisions.Collaborate with country-specific teams to gather project-level inputs and support senior management reporting and investment committee approvals.Due Diligence:Lead financial due diligence for project financing, assessing risks and opportunities.Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure rigorous financial analysis.M&A Activity:Take ownership of financial modelling and valuation for key M&A workstreams in the solar sector.Support investment evaluations, deal structuring, and coordinate due diligence across advisors and internal teams.Contribute to negotiations on transaction documents, including joint venture agreements and sales and purchase contracts.Data Analysis & Reporting:Prepare and deliver financial reports highlighting key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.Provide accurate, timely insights to support decision-making at senior levels.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance or related field; MBA in Finance preferred.4-6 years of experience in investment or infrastructure finance, ideally with exposure to renewable energy projects at the asset or platform level.Proven expertise in financial modelling and analysis for renewable projects, with hands-on experience in M&A processes.Strong track record in due diligence for renewable project financing.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in English required; Korean language skills advantageous.Location Seoul, South Korea
