Financial Planner – SwitzerlandLocation: Zurich / Geneva / Basel / Lausanne (Hybrid or On-site) Department: Wealth Management / Finance / Advisory Reports to: Senior Financial Planner / Head of Wealth ManagementAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Financial Planner to provide comprehensive financial advice and planning services to high-net-worth and individual clients in Switzerland.In this role, you will analyze clients’ financial situations, develop tailored strategies, and guide them on investment, retirement, tax, and risk management decisions. You will build long-term client relationships while ensuring compliance with Swiss financial regulations and best practices.This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess clients’ financial status, goals, and risk tolerance to develop personalized financial plans.Provide advice on investments, retirement planning, tax optimization, insurance, and estate planning.Prepare and present financial models, projections, and reports to clients.Monitor and review client portfolios, adjusting strategies based on market developments and client objectives.Collaborate with internal teams, such as investment advisors, tax specialists, and compliance officers.Ensure full compliance with Swiss regulatory requirements, FINMA guidelines, and internal policies.Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships.Stay up-to-date with market trends, financial products, and regulatory changes.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or investment advisory.Strong knowledge of investment products, financial modeling, and Swiss financial regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build long-term client relationships.Fluent in English; German and/or French is a strong advantage.Certifications such as CFP, CFA, or Swiss Certified Financial Planner are highly desirable.Experience with CRM and portfolio management tools.What We OfferCompetitive Swiss salary, performance bonuses, and benefits.Hybrid or flexible working arrangements.Opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients and complex financial portfolios.Professional development and certification support.Collaborative and international work environment.Impactful role contributing to client financial success and company growth.
