Job Title: Financial Planning & Analysis Associate – Client ConsultingReporting to: FP&A ManagerLocation: Pakistan (Fully Remote)Job Grade: AssociateWorking Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Dubai time, Monday to Friday, including a 1-hour flexible breakEmployment Type: Full-Time – Contract - 1 year (renewable)Legal Structure: Hired as a contractor by CompassPoint Consulting (Dubai)Salary: PKR 150k to 200kBenefits: 5 paid sick leave days per year and 13 pre-planned annual leave days per year.Important Note:You are expected to have a suitable device and a professional, interruption-free remote working environment. This is a full-time position that requires full commitment and focus. Our work goes beyond accounting, we help business owners make better decisions through structured financial insight and data clarity.At CompassPoint, you will work on meaningful client engagements, gain exposure to international businesses, and follow a clear professional development path within a performance-driven and supportive environment.The Role:We are seeking a motivated finance professional with strong Excel modelling skills and a solid foundation in accounting and finance principles.This role requires 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance-related roles. However, more important than years of experience are the right attitude, strong Excel capability, and clear understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting etc.You will work closely with senior team members to collect, structure, and analyze client financial data, prepare management reports, build financial models, and support dashboard reporting.This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and committed to delivering high-quality work.Key Responsibilities:Financial Data Review & StructuringReview and validate client accounting data.Recommend improvements to data capture and reporting.Liaise with client accountants/bookkeepers to ensure best practices.KPI & Performance Metric DevelopmentAssist in defining and tracking client-specific KPIs.Align metrics to client industry, business model, and growth goals.Embed KPIs into reporting frameworks.Technology & Reporting ToolsSupport implementation of FP&A Tools.Assist in integrating accounting systems with live dashboards.Troubleshoot and optimize data integrations.Management Reporting & AnalysisPrepare monthly reporting packs, including Budget vs Actuals and variance analysis.Collaborate with senior colleagues on insights and recommendations.Monitor reporting timelines and ensure accuracy.Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and respond to client queries.Financial Modelling & ForecastingBuild and maintain Excel-based models for forecasting, valuation, and decision-making.Assist with client budgets and rolling forecasts.Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI.Continuous ImprovementContribute to internal process improvements.Maintain accurate timesheet tracking.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration or alternative workplace experience required, with 3 years in a Financial-related field.Ideally 2–3 years in a financial, accounting & audit roleExperience or interest in commercial finance within a professional services setting preferred.Strong Excel skills; familiarity with financial modelling.Familiarity or interest in data visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous).Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly organized, detail-focused, and proactive.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesEagerness to learn and grow within a consulting environment.Core CompetenciesAttention to DetailsAccountability and OwnershipClear CommunicationPlanning and OrganizingGrowth Mindset.Why join us?Exposure to international clients in the GCC and UKDirect mentorship from senior FP&A and CFO-level professionalsReal consulting experience, not just back-office accounting workStructured career progression within a growing advisory firmOpportunity to develop expertise in financial modelling, dashboards, and strategic analysisPerformance-driven culture where excellence is recognized and rewardedCompetitive compensation aligned with capability and performanceAt CompassPoint, we do not simply prepare reports, we build financial clarity that shapes strategy and drives growth.
