Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Our client is a fast-growing SaaS platform in the sports technology and community management space, empowering organizations to streamline registration, payments, communication, and operations through a unified digital solution. They are seeking a highly analytical and strategic FP&A Consultant to support financial planning, forecasting, and business operations initiatives. This role will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, driving financial insight, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities:Lead and manage the company’s annual budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning processes.Maintain rolling forecasts and perform scenario analysis to anticipate business risks and opportunities.Deliver monthly financial reports and executive-level insights for leadership and board review.Enhance and evolve the monthly financial packet into a forward-looking decision-making tool.Leverage Tableau, Power BI, and related analytics tools to visualize trends and communicate key insights.Develop and automate real-time dashboards integrating financial and operational data (Stripe, Salesforce, etc.).Build and refine customer and departmental KPIs aligned with strategic objectives.Apply predictive analytics and data science to improve forecast accuracy and performance tracking.Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and Operations to integrate insights into budgets, forecasts, and quarterly estimates.Drive continuous process improvements and automation within the FP&A function to enhance scalability and efficiency.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred).5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Business Operations, or Strategic Planning, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment.Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.Hands-on expertise with SmartView, Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, and Stripe.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency; familiarity with automation, AI-driven reporting, and visualization tools.Exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with a track record of partnering effectively with C-level executives.
