Job Description

We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a Financial Regulatory Business Analyst to join their consulting team and support leading institutions in the financial services sector.The role focuses on helping clients maintain robust and sustainable compliance while optimizing compliance-related costs. As a Business Analyst, you will act as a key link between business teams and technical experts, ensuring the successful design and delivery of compliance initiatives.You will contribute to regulatory impact assessments, risk management, and reporting obligations, while ensuring operational readiness and supporting effective governanceKey ResponsibilitiesConduct and maintain detailed assessments of regulatory complianceEnsure operational processes and procedures align with regulatory expectationsAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teamsAnalyze business operations, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend effective solutionsTranslate business requirements into structured and clear documentationSupport the deployment of system or process changes by advising and guiding internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleAssist in test execution phases with business end-usersMonitor regulatory and market changes impacting the financial sectorContribute to internal knowledge development and the creation of regulatory-focused service offeringsProfileMore than 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance and/or business analysis rolesSolid knowledge of key regulations in Financial Markets & Payments (EU/Intl.) or in Banking & Prudential, or Data & Operational Risks, with expertise in at least one of the following: MIFID, EMIR, ESG, PSD, PSR, FATCA, CRS, IRD, FINREP, COREP, Solvency, Basel, CCD, and a good understanding of banking operations.Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational plansExperience in agile project environments is a plusExcellent coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skillsFluent in English and either French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the other language
