Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for providing accounting assistance in support of all facets of the closing and reporting process, streamlining procedures. This individual will also be involved in several ad-hoc projects.,Journal processing in SAP for US GAAP booksMaintain and close general ledger monthly for various Corporate departments for India BusinessPerform daily transactional activity and record the transactions in the General ledgerAnalysis vendor invoices and process upload files for payment releaseResponsible for maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and performing Asset Accounting activities in SAP Fixed Assets ModuleCompute depreciation as per India GAAP and India tax rulesAnalyze and prepare journal entries and accrualsPrepare monthly detail reconciliations and account analysis, including bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations and manger other key accounts reconciliations. Submit the Balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline toolTransactional review and ensure appropriate Withholding taxes deduction and GSTAssist in Preparation of Financial statements and necessary audit work papers and assist in the audit queriesAssist in preparation of documents required for handling tax audits (Direct and Indirect), Internal audit and any other enquiryAssist in the design and implementation of process improvements and best practicesAssist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects, including the assistance of various audits,Should have over all 2 to 7 years of experienceB Com, M Com or any Finance discipline, semi qualified CAs preferredExperience with SAP ECC, Ariba and ConcurExperience in SAP Asset Accounting (Fixed Asset module) will be added advantageResults orientated, flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deliverablesGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be detail oriented and experienced in follow-through and completion of projectsGood time-management skills, and ability to adhere to month-end close timelinesProficiency in Excel and other applications
