Financial Reporting Analyst

Our Client is a leading hedge fund organisation based in Dublin City Centre. The firm is looking to recruit an individual to assist the global accounting teams with a range of activities including: regulatory reporting; filing, closing the monthly books and records, performing accounting analysis and management reporting and assisting with other finance related activities across North America and EMEA.This role will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and will require and analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills, as well as outstanding organisational and multi-tasking skills.Principal ResponsibilitiesAssisting the global finance team in regulatory filings across variousjurisdictions Assisting in closing the monthly books and records across different regionsincluding North America and EMEAAssist in performing reconciliations and cash management forglobal management company accountsAssist in financial statement preparation and guiding audits to completion.Assist in preparation of internal management reporting materials.Assistance with Global finance projects and process improvements.Flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the team.Identify and make suggestions for efficiencies and improvements whenperforming work.Work closely with the Global finance team to assist in preparation of other adhoc items Qualifications/Skills RequiredMinimum of 3 years in a Finance or Accounting Role, preferably within a largeaccounting firm or in a relevant industryACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification A proactive individual, problem solving focused, with strong interpersonal and client service skills
