Across the region, many SMEs with real demand struggle to access capital, leaving valuable opportunities unrealized.At RCE, we’re changing that — building the bridge between global finance and local opportunity, turning financing from a bottleneck into a growth engine.The RoleWe’re hiring a Financial Services Business Development Lead — a hybrid of strategist and builder — to design and launch our financing ecosystem in Vietnam.You’ll be the founding member of RCE’s Financial Services team:Build relationships with banks and leasing partnersDesign credit frameworks and financing modelsLead daily operations until the system is ready to scaleEventually hire and manage an FS Operations Lead under youWhat You’ll DoStrategy & Design (50%)Build and expand RCE’s network of financial partnersDesign credit assessment frameworks that bridge SME realities with bank standardsCreate scalable leasing and installment models for construction equipmentDefine “smart rejection” rules — filter out unqualified applications while supporting genuine SMEsExecution & Operations (50%)Handle daily financial applications and customer communicationCoordinate with banks and RCE’s sales/accounting teams for approvalTrack data and generate insights (“Why did approval rates drop this month?”)Document and automate processes using Google Sheets, Slack, or other toolsWho You Are5–10 years of experience in finance, business development, or partnership rolesUnderstand SME financing and credit risk in emerging marketsProven experience working with banks, leasing firms, or B2B lending productsStrong communication and negotiation skills (English required)Thrive in a fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environmentBonus: Experience in Vietnam’s financial sector or fintech partnershipsWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation20-60M VND/month base salary (based on experience and performance)Performance-based bonuses, annual salary increases (tied to KPI)Stock options as a founding team member50% coverage of driving license feesHealth & social insurance plus paid leave per state regulationsPremium Work EnvironmentThe Sun Building, HanoiCompany laptop and phoneCompany vehicle (if needed)Innovative CultureFast decision-making and executionMultinational team (Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Global)Monthly team building with Korean leadershipKorea trip if company meets targetCareer GrowthBuild and potentially lead the financial services teamHandle deals worth tens of millions of dollars annuallyCore founding member of a unicorn-track companyWhy This Role is SpecialMost finance roles are either pure strategy (design but never execute) or pure operations (execute someone else's design).
