MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE* Must have a CA (SA) in good standing with minimum 4-6 years' post-articleexperience, which must include exposure to consolidations and preparation offinancial statements (group, companies and trusts)* Extensive exposure to IFRS, Companies Act, JSE Listings Requirements and SECrequirements* Ability to work under pressure due to tight deadlines* Strong communication skills: Verbal and Written* Good report-writing skills are essential* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail* Self-starter* Ability to adapt to changing environment is key* Proficient in ExcelADVANTAGEOUS* Exposure to SOX environment is preferred* Exposure to the following will be advantageous:o Mining industryo Oracle ERPo Consolidation and reporting tool such as IBM Cognoso WdeskOTHER REQUIREMENTS* Medical Certificate of Fitness* Computer Literacy (MS Office)* Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential* Code 8 Driver’s licenseSKILLS AND PERSONALITY TRAITS* Critical analytical thinker* Attention to detail* Reliable* Driven and persevering* Innovative * Methodical * Possesses Integrity and acts Ethically * Accurate * Self-starter * Team orientatedROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Report to Financial Manager: Reporting* Review of information which could includes:o calculations for company and group financial accountso entries required for the consolidation of the groupo reports to the boardo quarterly and half yearly financial statements for Groupo annual financial statements for Groupo sections of the Integrated Annual Report and Form 20Fo statutory financial statements for the group's entities in accordance with IFRS and other regulationso XBRL filings (CIPC)* Coordinate and manage sub-processes within the department.Internal candidates to complete the internal Job application form with HR asacknowledgement from HOD on application.
