Role PurposeReporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Commercial and Operations Officer (CCOO) is crucial in driving the company's growth and operational excellence. This role ensures that commercial goals, such as increasing sales and market share, are met while optimizing operational efficiency.

By integrating strategies for market expansion and streamlining business processes, the CCOO helps the company achieve its commercial and social impact objectives. The CCOO focuses on delivering superior customer value, fostering innovation, and maintaining high standards of performance across all functions. The Chief Commercial and Operations Officer (CCOO) is a senior executive role responsible for driving the company's commercial strategy while ensuring operational efficiency. Accountabilities:

Commercial Strategy and ExecutionDevelop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with company goalsOversee sales and business development to drive revenue growthOversee marketing function and ensure customer lead generation and engagement strategies are meaningful and impactful for the customer and are executed in line with FINCA mission and business objectives: Identify and explore new market opportunities and partnerships: analyze the market trends, highlight new opportunities, and build creative strategies to drive growthLead customer relationship management efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Operational EfficiencyEnsure efficient and effective business operations across all departmentsOptimize supply chains, resource management, and service processesImplement best practices for operational excellence and continuous improvement. Oversee the development and execution of operational policies and procedures. External CommunicationGuide communications activities that build the profile of FINCA leaders, strengthen partnerships, and publicly demonstrate FINCA's value to its stakeholders and the media. FinancialManagementDevelop and manage budgets for commercial and operational functionsMonitor commercial and operational performance and implement measures to achieve budgeted targetsAnalyse and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management. Strategic Planning and ExecutionCollaborate with all stakeholders on strategic planning and execution to ensure that customer acquisition, retention, and operational efficiency initiatives are aligned with the organization's long-term goals and objectives. Data-DrivenDecisionMakingLeverage data analytics and insights for informed strategic decision-making across the organization.

They collaborate closely and with other stakeholders to analyse customer behaviour, market trends, and operational performance to drive growth and improve efficiency. InnovationandDigitalTransformationCollaborate closely and with other stakeholders to drive innovation and lead digital transformation initiatives within the organization. This involves exploring emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for process automation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. Quality MaintenanceMaintain and enhance the quality of products/services to meet or exceed industry standards, ensuring alignment with the organization's commitment to excellence.

PolicyDevelopmentandImplementationMaintains a sound plan of corporate organization, establishing policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession. Develops and executes procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization. Job RequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or equivalent qualification.

MBA or master's degree is preferredExperienceAt-least 15 -year experience in comparable positions in terms of responsibility in banking or microfinance in commercial and operations function is required5-year experience in leadership role is requiredKnowledgeandSkillsExceptional leadership and management skills with a focus on securing strategic and digital transformation initiatives, business planning, people and financial managementExcellent communication skillsExcellent strategic planning and execution capabilitiesDeep understanding of market dynamics and customer behaviorExpertise in optimizing business operations and processesFinancial acumen and budget management experience.
