The Commercial Analytics team is an international and experienced team that is part of a bigger Customer and Revenue Data & Analytics team supporting Finnair’s Commercial and Customer Experience functions. As a member of the team, you will get to work with a wide array of commercial aviation data and take responsibility for the development and maintenance of BI solutions and dashboards, data output, and in-depth analysis.
This position is a fixed-term parental leave contract starting as soon as possible and lasting until 31 December 2026.
In This Role, You Will Get ToDevelop, maintain, and execute the Data and Analytics strategy, practices, and activities, supporting the overall company strategyPro-actively create ideas for utilizing analytics to improve business performanceProvide strategic decision support to management as well as guide tactical analytics within the organizationWork closely together with a wide group of data professionals and business stakeholdersCollect and translate business requirements into coherent dashboards and reportsEnsure the availability, accuracy, and relevance of data and analyses, and complete ad-hoc reporting and analyses where neededTo succeed in this role, an ideal candidate will have:
Analytical, business minded, and pro-active working styleStrong teamwork and communication skillsCapacity to translate data into useful business conclusions and recommendationsProven track record of outstanding quality output and added value Relevant master’s degree / PhD (e. g. , business, engineering, analytics) Advanced SQL skills and working experience in an enterprise environmentExperience in working with data warehouse technologies, such as Snowflake and Oracle DWHExperience in Power BI development (PBI desktop, PBI service, DAX, data modelling, performance optimization, etc.
