Communicate with Customer Business Manager and O&M team on operational issues.How You Will Do ItPerforms maintenance duties with a focus on fire alarm, voice evacuation panels, low voltage accessories, fire alarm panels, and Audio-Visual devices. Performs routine maintenance and repairs of fire alarm components including fire alarm panels, voice evacuation panels, and associated field devicesPerforms routine inspections of building’s safety systems including but not limited to: fire alarm systems, voice evacuation, low voltage accessories, fire alarm panels, and Audio-Visual devices, and associated field devices.Monitoring of Computerized Management Maintenance System (CMMS) for work orders and timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks and demand tasksConducts extensive self-study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in facility’s systems. Completes certifications as required by the companyProficient use of hand and power tools/instruments including drills, saws, mutli-meter, etcAssists with parts research/procurement and maintaining parts inventoryAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot reported Fire Alarm issues and convey findings to additional technical resources when neededInteract with customers/tenants in a positive and cooperative mannerComply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Performs other miscellaneous maintenance duties as requested.RequiredWhat we look forHigh school graduate or equivalent.Minimum of one year of experience working with fire alarms, electrical systems, or similar low voltage equipment. Applicants with solid mechanical or electrical skills who are willing to learn will also be considered.Basic computer experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and CMMSMust possess a valid driver’s licenseMust be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.Will be required to respond to occasional emergencies outside of normal business hours.Must be physically able to perform maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $27.40-34.62 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
