This is an opportunity to join Chubb Fire & Security where you will benefit from employment stability, progression opportunities as well a range of additional benefits that come with working with a market leader.The roleBased in New Plymouth, you will be responsible for fire protection and other compliance systems testing on customer premises ensuring compliance with Chubb and NZ Regulatory standardsThis Will InvolveLiaising with customers on testing schedules, providing assistance if needed for owners inspectionsCarry out inspections on fire alarms, fire sprinklers, emergency lighting systems and many other passive systemsIdentifying defects, service requirements and, where applicable, provide sufficient detail for quotations to be producedCompletion of other tasks as required from time to timeTo be successfulExperience in the Fire industry is preferred but at a minimum you will have a technical mindset and a strong focus on providing high quality customer service. You will also need to be organised, able to plan your workload and demonstrate initiative where needed to get the work done in a timely manner.You WillBe legally able to work in New ZealandDemonstrate efficiency through prior time and route planningHave the ability to prepare written reports with clear well detailed informationBe a proactive member of the teamMaintain up to date knowledge and awareness of NZ Regulatory Industry StandardsNZQA New Zealand Certificate in Fire Protection Systems Technology (Testing) Level 3 or similar (or the ability to obtain one)Hold a current Drivers LicenseThe ability to work away from home when required (3-4 days a month)Using FieldService our mobile phone application to plan and organize your schedule and manage your work orders to completionAbout UsChubb Fire & Security have been protecting people and assets worldwide for more than 200 years.
