Asgar Ali Hospital is looking for Fire Safety OfficerJob Description / ResponsibilityDevelop, implement, and regularly update comprehensive fire safety and general safety policies, plans, and procedures.Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments of hospital premises and equipment to identify potential hazards.Organize and conduct fire drills, evacuation drills, and safety training programs for staff, volunteer groups, and emergency response teams.Ability to lead fire safety teams and manage crises.Inspect, maintain, and ensure the functionality of all fire safety systems and equipment (fire extinguishers, hydrants, smoke detectors, sprinklers, alarms).Liaise with external fire services, regulatory bodies, and security agencies.Supervise security guards and utility staff, ensuring adherence to fire and safety protocols.Provide regular awareness sessions to promote a culture of safety among all employees.Perform any other fire & safety-related duties assigned by management.Strong communication skills to train, motivate, and build awareness among hospital staff.Strong problem-solving and documentation/reporting skills.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and compliance documentation.Educational RequirementsSSCHSCRetired Firefighter from the Fire Service and Civil DefenceSkills Required: fire detection, Fire Man, Fire Evacuation Drill, Fire Safety, Fire safety Management, Fire Safety Training, Firefighter, Fire Protection and Detection SystemExperience Requirements5 to 10 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Hotel, ResortAdditional RequirementsCandidates with working experience in hospitals will be given preferencesPrevious experience as a Fire & Safety Trainer will be an added advantageJob LocationDhaka (Old Dhaka)
