Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Engineer Drafter📍 Location: Remote Work🕒 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST💼 Employment Type: Full-time | Remote📝 Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Fire Sprinkler Engineer Drafter to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate fire protection system drawings, layouts, and hydraulic calculations using AutoCAD, Revit, and specialized software such as AutoSprink. This role supports the design and implementation of fire sprinkler systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes and client specifications.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and design fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and AutoSprinkInterpret architectural and mechanical plans to produce fire protection layoutsPerform hydraulic calculations and prepare schematic riser diagramsCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure design accuracyRevise drawings based on feedback and field conditionsMaintain documentation and drawing standards in line with NFPA and local codesSupport project coordination and timely delivery of design packages🎓 Qualifications🛠 Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 2-5 years of experience in fire protection drafting or related engineering fieldProficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with AutoSprink is highly preferredStrong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA codesAbility to read and interpret construction documents and MEP plansExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilities🎓 EducationBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related fieldLicensed Mechanical Engineer or equivalent certification is an advantage💻 Tools and SoftwareAutoCAD, Revit, AutoSprink, Fire Elite, PlanSwift, MS OfficeFamiliarity with BIM 360, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is a plus
