The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager is responsible for implementing and overseeing the Quality Control Inspectors to ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards. This role involves developing and enforcing quality control processes, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. This position will be for a industrial manufacturing client estimated project length of one year with possible extension. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Supervision:
Oversee a team of Quality Control Inspectors, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective quality control processesConduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to inspectors to enhance their skills and productivity Quality Control Processes: Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirementsConduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of quality control processes and identify areas for improvement Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all quality control activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulationsStay updated with changes in industry standards and regulations, and adapt quality control processes accordingly Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze quality control data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvementPrepare and present reports to senior management on quality control performance and recommendations for enhancement Problem-Solving and Improvement: Identify and address quality issues by collaborating with production, engineering, and other departmentsImplement corrective and preventive actions to resolve quality problems and prevent their recurrence Training and Development: Provide training to Quality Control Inspectors on quality control procedures, tools, and best practicesFoster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage inspectors to develop their skills and knowledge Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with other department managers, inspectors, auditors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality control objectives and strategiesCommunicate effectively with all levels of the organization to promote a culture of quality excellenceRequirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred but not required Experience: At least five years of professional experience in quality assurance, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial role Certifications: Certified Quality Assurance Professional (CQAP) or similar certification is highly desirable Technical Skills:
Proficiency in quality control software and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of statistical analysis and quality control methodologies Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skillsStrong organizational abilities and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Additional Requirements:
