First Aid Facilitator (Freelance / Independent Contractor)Location: Johannesburg | Cape Town | Durban The First Aid Facilitator is responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant first aid training to corporate clients across various industries.The successful candidate will equip employees with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to medical emergencies in the workplace.This role requires a clinically qualified professional with strong facilitation skills, hands-on experience, and a passion for first aid training and skills development.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, accurate, and compliant first aid training sessions to corporate groups.Facilitate both theoretical and practical components, ensuring learners meet assessment criteria.Adapt training style to suit corporate audiences with varying levels of first aid knowledge.Maintain accurate attendance registers, assessment records, and certification documentation.Ensure all training materials, equipment, and resources are prepared, up to date, and aligned with organisational and regulatory requirements.Provide high -quality learner support, guidance, and feedback throughout training sessions.Promote a strong safety culture and ensure professionalism in all client interactions.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:HPCSA or SANC-accredited qualification (non-negotiable)CPD complaint with regulatory boardMinimum 3 years’ working experience in a clinical, emergency care, or relevant healthcare environmentMinimum 2 years’ training/facilitation experienceStrong communication, presentation, and group -facilitation skillsAbility to manage training documentation accurately and professionallyAdvantageous:Facilitator and/or Moderator (Assessor/Moderator) certificationsPrevious experience facilitating training for corporate clientsCore CompetenciesStrong first aid and medical knowledgeConfident facilitation and classroom managementProfessional, client -centred approachHigh attention to detail and complianceAbility to engage adult learners and adapt training style
