First Grade Teacher

Position SummaryThe First Grade Teacher will be responsible for teaching foundational literacy and numeracy skills while promoting curiosity, creativity, and social development in students aged 6 to 8. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong classroom management, effective communication, and a passion for early childhood education in a bilingual environment.Main ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s academic standards and learning objectives.Teach reading, writing, and basic math skills through interactive and age-appropriate activities.Implement teaching strategies that address different learning styles and developmental stages.Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and administration.Use educational platforms (Moodle, Google Classroom) to support learning and communication.Integrate technological tools (Canva, Genially, Kahoot, etc.) into the classroom.Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Participate in professional development activities and school events.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching or a related field.Experience in literacy instruction.3–4 years of teaching experience with children aged 6–8.Knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and classroom management strategies.Familiarity with educational platforms (Moodle, Google Classroom).Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
