Electrical Project Engineer | Data Centres Our client is one of Europe’s leading specialist contractors delivering mission-critical infrastructure across the continent. This firm is renowned for its end-to-end delivery model, from design through to commissioning, on some of the most high-profile data centre projects currently under construction. With multiple sites active across Europe and a proven track record in managing complex engineering programmes, they are expanding their expert team in Finland and now hiring an Electrical Project Engineer with a focus on OFCI packages.
You will take the lead on all things OFCI, from coordinating client-supplied equipment with live construction schedules to navigating technical escalations with vendors, clients and your own internal teams. 📍Finland, Site-based Role📅Full-time, Permanent Role with long-term project scope 💶Competitive Package + Accommodation + Weekly Allowance and a Rotation-based schedule🌍 EU Mobility Support Available and visa support will be considered for the right personAs the Electrical Project Engineer, you will: Manage the OFCI team to ensure that Works are engineered, planned and installed in accordance with project requirements.
Support engineering, programme and commissioning requirements through managing & liaising with key Project Stakeholders Ensure all Vendors equipment is coordinated with the construction requirements and project programme. Lead weekly meetings with the client, OFCI Vendors and other relevant Stakeholders Report on OFCI packages progress and escalate issues & risks for mitigation. Mitigate contract disputes and provide oversight, guidance, and technical expertise. Ensure client security and confidentiality is always maintainedWhat's in it for you?You’ll be embedded in a major mission-critical project, delivering serious MW scale. 7+ years in M&E contracting, with a strong Electrical biasQualified Electrical Engineer Background in large-scale industrial or data centre builds - data centre builds are highly preferred for this roleConfident communicator who can hold their own in client/vendor discussionsStrong coordination, planning, and escalation skillsHighly advantageous is if you have led OFCI packages before, but if you’re an Electrical Engineer ready to step up and own a slice of the data centre puzzle, then that's great.
