Chief Financial Officer

FPG is proud to be partnering with a leading regional Telecom Operator to support the appointment of their Chief Financial Officer. This key leadership role will be responsible for the company’s administrative, financial, and risk management operations — including the development of financial and operational strategies, performance metrics aligned with those strategies, and robust control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Strategic & Financial Leadership:

Partner with the CEO and leadership team to align financial strategy with business goalsProvide insights and recommendations on performance, budgeting, and operational deliveryOversee long-term financial planning, investment, and cost managementGuide annual objectives and support board committees (finance, audit, investment)Planning & Performance: Lead the development and execution of strategic and financial plansOversee budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance measurementDefine tax and financial strategies aligned with corporate goalsFinancial Operations:

Ensure financial systems and reporting comply with GAAP and regulatory standardsMaintain internal controls and manage audit activitiesOversee accounting, budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and banking relationshipsManage outsourced financial functions and transaction processing systemsImplement best practices and report financial results to the CEOTechnology & Systems: Collaborate with IT to deploy finance systems that support growth and scalabilityTeam Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance teamOversee training, work allocation, performance evaluation, and cross-functional collaborationExternal Relations: Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodiesRepresent the company in financial discussions with stakeholdersKey Requirements: Professional Experience:

10+ years of senior financial leadership, preferably in telecom or large enterprise environmentsExperience managing full finance functions (accounting, budgeting, controls, reporting)Proven track record partnering with C-suite and executive teamsSkills & Competencies: Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modelling skillsHands-on, proactive leader with a collaborative and service-oriented mindsetEffective communicator at all levels; fluent in English (Kurdish/Arabic a plus)Strong integrity, deadline-focused, and detail-orientedExperience with IT-finance systems and government audit processes (OMB)Education:
