Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Head of Corporate Communications, Brand & Marketing. Please note that this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing and managing the brand identity and social media presence of FirstBank UK. Develop and implement a comprehensive branding strategy that reflects the Bank's values and vision. Create, curate and manage published content across appropriate social media platforms, aiming to enhance the Bank's visibility, engage our audience and drive brand loyalty. Monitor social media trends, analyse engagement data, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that our brand messaging is consistent, impactful and resonates with our customer base. Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive events strategy for FirstBank UK.
Effectively manage culture communications (alongside HR) by ensuring consistent, transparent messaging that aligns with the company’s values and mission. Collaborate with HR to develop and execute an integrated internal communications strategy that aligns with the company’s goal and culture. Put in place a systematic government relations strategy and implementation programme for the country linking it with Group network. Plan and implement a country-focused media relations strategy for the Bank to deliver the Country and Group’s key messages effectively. Create Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy for FirstBank UK.
Develop and implement communication strategy to ensure all stakeholders are informed about Consumer Duty regulations from a communications perspective. Responsible for all internal events (Including town halls) as well as all external events within the UK and across the Network. Manage the Banks Corporate Gifts and Branding exercise. Key Skills/Experience: Previous experience within a similar role. Experience within Banking/Financial Services would be advantageous. Strong Communications experience as well as Communications testing experience. Strong decision-making skills with the ability to make decisions on strategic PR issues.
Sensitive to changing environments and the ability to react and pro-act quickly to defend the Bank’s position and reputation. A strong regulated background would be desirable.
