WHAT DOES A SUCCESSFUL SENIOR C++ & PYTHON DEVELOPER DO AT FISERV?You will work in Switching domain which covers front-end/real-time payment processing in the areas of e-commerce, POS, ATM, as well as issuing authorizations. It is an important component of Fiserv's transaction processing in the EMEA region. The Senior Developer is primarily responsible for the development of new implementations, changes, compliance, and support for stability and performance. The work is dynamic in response to changing payment methods and increasing demands for security and compatibility with other evolving systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Initial design and subsequent detailed analysis of new solutions, implementations, and migrations with the team, utilizing the expertise of experienced colleagues within the team. Development of proposed solutions, considering the existing system architecture, current code changes, and application performance. Unit testing, collaboration with the testing team to prepare testing scenarios, assistance with production parallel testing, and validation of results. Collaboration with the Ops team in resolving various production cases or during the production implementation of new releases. Consultation across other domains in Fiserv and the design of complex solutions.

Specifically, these involve large migrations, new interfaces, and subsequent specific back-office processing, or compliance changes related to major/minor schemes or various security requirements. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS POSITION: Salary starts from 3500€/m gross based on previous experience. This role is meant for employment only. B2B (SZČO/s. r. o. ) is not possible. We provide support outside of business hours through an on-call duty rotation. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE: C++ development experience, Python development experience. Experience with GitLab and maintaining repositories as well. Experience working in Scrum and understanding Agile principles.

Analytical thinking, with the ability to manage mathematically challenging problems. Ability to multitask and work on multiple requests simultaneously. Proactivity, good communication, and collaboration within the team, along with a willingness to learn new things. WHAT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE: Experience with payment engines, switching platforms, or payment processing. Overview of VISA/MasterCard compliance, with experience in the payment domain, whether in the areas of acquiring or issuing. Cryptography, information security experience.
