WHAT DOES A SUCCESSFUL JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER DO AT FISERV?As a Front-end developer, you are a seasoned professional who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining UI libraries and Web applications based on Vue. JS framework communicating with a REST service based back-end. You will work on a development of an inhouse UI component library, build new and modern web applications and integrate them into the overall web portal solution. You are a key player in ensuring the successful delivery of tasks, solutions and goals, combining technical expertise and strategic thinking. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Implement new features and functionality, as well as optimize and refactor existing code. Write clean, efficient and well documented code. Work with appropriate frameworks, libraries and tools (e. g. Node, Typescript, VueJS, Vite, StoryBook, Git, GitLab, IntelliJ IDEA …). Resolve complex technical issues, whether in the development stage or in production environment. Analyze logs and error reports to trace problems and apply fixes. Contribute to innovation initiatives, proposing new technologies or approaches. Knowledge of build automation tools like vite, webpack, rollup or similar. Communication with back end: Proficiency in use of RESTful services and related technologies like JSON. Version Control: Knowledge of Git.

Familiarity with unit tests development and a use of tools like Jest, Vitest, Playwright etc. WHAT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE: Experience working in agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
