Itâs an exciting time to join the business. Based at our East TÄmaki Design Centre, we are looking for a highly skilled Global Product Manager to join our Auckland team. Youâll bridge our global product management function and the Haier China team, driving growth across all appliance categories for the Fisher & Paykel Brand and accelerating our expansion in the China luxury market. What Youâll DoYouâll leverage your deep experience in the New Zealand and China markets, fluency in Mandarin, and ability to influence stakeholders to translate our global vision into the China market.
Key responsibilities include: Shaping and driving the China portfolio roadmap with product line leaders, aligning with Fisher & Paykelâs strategy and goals. Developing a deep understanding of the China competitive landscape and turning multiple data sources into genuine insights. Ensuring flawless execution of our go-to-market plans by influencing Haier teams in China. Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written)Experience in New Zealand and China markets with awareness of cultural factors impacting business in ChinaProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholdersSkilled negotiator with commercial acumenBackground in premium and luxury product markets (advantageous)Confidence in navigating uncertainty and establishing systems across organizationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join Us? You may have experience in product management, marketing, or product development within luxury or premium brands. We value someone with proven skills in influencing stakeholders at all levels, sound communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in project management and prioritization. You should be comfortable making decisions in uncertain environments.
In this role, youâll become a trusted category expert for the China market, leveraging your influence within the business and delivering outstanding outcomes. You'll thrive in a hands-on environment, excelling at influencing stakeholders and driving results. A bachelorâs degree in business or a related field is preferred.
