Position Title:Fixnet Service Center EngineerPosition Type:PermanentStart Date:ASAPLocation:Romania or PolandContact:Iulia Balan | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 62Responsibilities:Incident and Event management of multi-vendor IP, Transmission and Voice network equipmentInitial troubleshooting of multi-vendor IP, Transmission and Voice network equipmentSupporting internal and external departments in troubleshooting network and service issuesManagement of order, delivery and cancellation process using prescribed workflows and toolsCommunication with client end-customers (telephone, hotline, email)Communication with client service managers and operations team (telephone, hotline, email)Communication with internal and external suppliers and carriers (telephone, hotline, email)Initiation, coordination and remote support of field services for installation and troubleshootingTimely processing of events and tickets according to prescribed processes and avoiding SLA violationsEnsuring high quality of ticket processing with adequate documentation as per work instructionsIncident, Escalation and Prioritization managementProblem Management to identify and report recurring service and equipment faultsCreate and maintain technical documentation, workflows and processes related to competence areaContribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and efficiencySupport cross domain competence development within the project team24x7 service coverage according to assigned shift scheduleOut of office time & bank holidays support when necessaryRequirements:Good German, at least B2Good written and spoken EnglishWillingness to work shifts 24/7Cross-team support if requiredInitial experience in customer support, telephone, mail, ticket systemExperience in the telecommunications and business customer sector is desirableUnderstanding of the different types of fixed network technologies, DSL, VDSL, Ethernet, VPNDesirable, experience with Cisco, OneAccess CPEInitial experience with ticket-based systemsAbility to work independently and good teamwork skillsPassion and affinity for troubleshootingSense of responsibility, commitment and reliabilityBasic experience in C, C++ languageGood scripting skills (Perl, Python, Make or similar)Good communication, strong analytical skills, team oriented, initiative
