Step into a fast-paced role as a Fleet Personnel Officer and become a key operational force behind our specialized maritime offshore fleet. This is a challenging opportunity to work at the forefront of the industry, supporting complex vessels involved in subsea construction, renewable energy projects, and specialized support operations.Working as an individual contributor, you will partner with the Senior Fleet Personnel Officer to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient crewing for our vessels. Your expertise will guarantee that personnel logistics meet strict statutory standards, contractual obligations, and the unique, demanding requirements of the offshore environment.Key Accountabilities: Offshore Crewing Mastery: Oversee and execute all daily crew operations, making critical decisions that directly support the operational continuity and rigorous safety needs of our assigned offshore fleet Specialized Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with all statutory regulations, contracts, and company policies, navigating the complex legal framework unique to the maritime offshore sector Logistics Coordination: Act as the central coordinator for all manning logistics, liaising with onboard crew, specialized agencies, and clients to achieve seamless and efficient vessel manning rotations Dynamic Problem Solving: Provide efficient and practical solutions ("Out-Of-The-Box-Solutions") for non-standard queries, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a rapidly changing operational environment Requirements Commercial qualification or Bachelor’s degree (preferably with a shipping or offshore background) At least 3-5 years of experience in Crew Operations or a similar role Experience in the offshore sector is desirable Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Expertise to find "Out-Of-The-Box-Solutions" for non-standard queries Ability to adapt to dynamic operational requirements rapidly Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), German language skills will be beneficial BenefitsYou may choose up to three benefits from our benefits-catalogue cotaining i.e.: Contribution to our Canteen, Deutschlandticket, Bike Leasing (JobRad), Childcare (KITA contribution), Fitness Contribution and more In addition, you will benefit from: Flexible working hours and 10 days/ month work from anywhere entitlement Annual leave days: 28-30 (depending on length of service) Open-door-policy and flat hierarchies A beautiful office in the heart of Hamburg
