Join our team today and experience firsthand our dedication to supporting People First.Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, vans equipped with ADAS components.Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the fleet.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.Reacting to faults with our fleet and implementing repairs in a timely mannerRecording and reporting of faults found and the resolution to those issuesWorking with the drivers of our fleet to ensure faults they experience or concerns they have are addressedCarry out repairs on a variety of vehicle components.Ensuring the fleet is kept in a presentable condition for use in high profile demonstrations to investors and media.Adhere to health and safety standards.EssentialSuccessfully completed technical training, i.e. as a Vehicle-Mechatronic, Automotive Mechatronics Technician, (Level 2 Automotive Technician > JAP equivalent)Strong experience using diagnostic machines to identify and repair mechanical issuesFamiliar with repairing vehicles from an OEM's repair manual, covering component and bodywork repairsSafe working ethic and familiarity with Risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and OSHAStrong customer facing communication skills to help with fault diagnosisComputer literate and able to use programmes such as word and excel for tracking work done on vehiclesFull clean Japan driving licenceAt least 2 years' driving experience mainly in JapanNo blameworthy insurance claims in the past three yearsStrong driving skills and knowledge and willingness to continue developingAll applications are required to disclose any second job as part of the application processAll applicants will be subject to a health check (before/after) the offer and should disclose any conditions that may affect their ability to safely operate a vehicleEmployment is contingent upon passing random drug and alcohol testing, in accordance with our Drugs & Alcohol policy.DesirableGood attitude and a willingness to learn and pivot as the the company goals changeShift Pattern - Schedule issued 4 weeks in advance How We Partner To Protect You: TaskUs will neither solicit money from you during your application process nor require any form of payment in order to proceed with your application.
