Apply now!Learn more jti.comFleet SpecialistYou will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods and services. This role involves managing fleet suppliers in terms of leasing and maintenance, coordinating drivers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimising fleet performance.The Fleet Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the fleet.Position As the Fleet Specialist in the Fleet & Facilities Department, you will be responsible forFleet Operations Manage daily fleet activities, including vehicle scheduling, and driver coordination to ensure efficiency, Address driver concerns and resolve any issues related to fleet operations also to implement and enforce fleet policies and procedures to ensure efficient operationsMaintenance & Repairs Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring all vehicles remain in optimal working condition. Coordinate with external maintenance staff and external service providers for repairs and servicing. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairsCompliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements while conducting regular fleet audits. Investigate and report accidents or incidents involving fleet vehiclesCost & Budget Management Monitor expenses, optimize fuel efficiency, and implement cost-saving measures within the approved budgetReporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records including vehicle logs, maintenance records, and driver schedules. Track fleet performance metrics, and provide reports to managementRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field is preferred1-3 years of proven experience in fleet managementFluent English & ArabicStrong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory complianceExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage drivers and coordinate with stakeholdersWhat To ExpectExpect wellbeing initiatives, flexible work arrangements, growth opportunities, and excellent benefits, including a unique family leave policy.
