Fleet Tool and Plant Buyer

Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity in Leixlip for a Fleet and Plant Buyer with one of the most reputable and largest Engineering contractors in Europe.As the Fleet & Plant Buyer you'll be responsible for purchasing and hiring equipment, materials and/or services for assigned projects.Responsibilities:Purchase and hire equipment, materials and/or services for assigned projects.Responsible for procurement to pay process from sourcing to assisting with invoice clearance.Supplier sourcing and negotiations.Secure the quality and timely delivery of goods and/or services required for assigned projects.Conducting bid analysis and processing of purchase orders.Create Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function.Liaison with suppliers and accounts payable team regarding invoice queries.Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities.Maintain Procurement Schedules with project teams and planning function.Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as sites and suppliers.Negotiate vendor alliances and rebate agreements.Assist in the reallocation or disposal of excess materials.Ensure that the Authority Matrix is followed stringently.Conduct site visits to meet with project teams.
