Floor Inspector (5 months)

Job Title: Floor Inspector (5 month contract)Department: Venue Infrastructure / HSELocation: DubaiJob PurposeTo review, inspect, and ensure all event and exhibition floor plans comply with health, safety, and venue regulations. The role requires close coordination with planners and organizers to maintain safety standards during all event phases — Build-Up, Opening, and Tear-Down.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and approve event and exhibition floor plans in line with Health & Safety Rules and Regulations.Conduct on-site inspections during Build-Up, Opening, and Tear-Down phases.Ensure all setups comply with approved plans and safety standards.Prepare inspection reports, highlight non-compliance issues, and ensure corrective actions are taken.Upload approved plans and inspection reports into the system.Update and maintain venue master floor plans and HSE guidelines as per Dubai Municipality, DCD, and DTCM regulations.Support the Venue Infrastructure team with operational tasks and ensure halls are ready for event openings.Follow and promote quality, safety, and security standards at all times.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.Experience: Minimum 2 years in the events or exhibition industry.Skills:Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Strong report writing and communication skills (English).Knowledge of HSE regulations and event compliance.Certifications (Preferred): NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely.Working ConditionsRequires on-site presence across various event venues.Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on event schedules.Indoor and occasional outdoor work environment.Core CompetenciesAdaptability and flexibilityAttention to detail and time managementTeam collaborationCustomer-focused mindsetStrong communication and decision-making skills
