Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity As a People Solutions Consultant, you’ll play a key role in shaping the experience of our people and supporting managers across the business. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that combines expert HR advice with collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational impact.

You’ll have the opportunity to join one of three specialised teams, each contributing to a seamless and supportive experience for our people. We have several fixed term vacancies ranging from 6-12 months in the following portfolios: Leave, Pay and Policy: Provide clear, confident guidance on leave, pay, and policy—supporting employees covered by both individual and collective agreements. Contracts and Onboarding: Own the onboarding experience, from preparing digital contracts to helping managers and new starters feel informed and ready for day one. Rewards and Organisational Development:

Provide trusted advice and guidance on our rewards and remuneration framework, policy and initiatives and partner with key stakeholders to deliver our Annual Salary Review process. You’ll balance people-focused support with operational responsibilities that help the team and business perform at their best. Your work will include:

* Managing a range of phone and email queries with care and efficiency * Leading projects that improve how we work and deliver services * Supporting the resolution of complex cases and escalations * Facilitating sessions that build capability and confidence in our people managers * Coaching and developing Advisors to strengthen team capability * Maintaining smooth operations through fair rostering and balanced workloads * Collaborating across the business to streamline processes and enhance service delivery We believe great teams are built on diversity—of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Mōu | About you You’re someone who brings strong people skills and a practical mindset, combining curiosity, capability, and care in everything you do. You have a solid understanding of employment legislation and experience working in a shared service or fast-paced HR environment, where adaptability and collaboration are key.

Depending on the team you join, you might also bring: Rewards and OD: Experience working in a rewards or remuneration team, with confidence navigating complex systems, handling large data sets and producing clear, accurate reporting. Contracts and Onboarding: A good grasp of employment contracts—ideally with experience writing them—and a love for tech. You’ll be working across multiple systems that connect to support a smooth recruitment and onboarding experience. Leave, Pay and Policy: A proven track record in a unionised environment and skilled at interpreting and advising on collective agreement matters.
