Job Description

Job DescriptionF&B Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hospital, ensuring safe, hygienic, nutritious, and high-quality meal services for patients, attendants, doctors, and staff. The role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and dietary guidelines while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control.ResponsibilitiesPatient Nutrition & Diet ManagementEnsure timely preparation and delivery of prescribed therapeutic and special diet meals as per doctors’ and dietitians’ instructions.Coordinate closely with Clinical Nutrition and Nursing departments to maintain dietary accuracy.Monitor patient satisfaction related to food services.Food Safety & ComplianceEnsure strict compliance with hospital infection control standards and food safety regulations (HACCP principles).Conduct regular hygiene audits of kitchen, storage, and service areas.Operational ManagementSupervise kitchen, cafeteria, and ward pantry operations.Ensure efficient meal planning, procurement, inventory management, and waste control.Maintain equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance as needed.Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise kitchen and cafeteria staff.Ensure proper duty roster planning to maintain uninterrupted service.Promote discipline, hygiene practices, and customer service culture.Quality & Service ExcellenceOversee cafeteria services for staff and visitors.Ensure quality presentation and portion control.Handle complaints and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Additional RequirementsApplicants of any gender are welcome to apply.Preferred degrees are Bachelor in any discipline.Preferred Industry Type are Medical Services / Hospital.Experience must be within 5-8 years.
