We are looking for a candidate that is organized, driven, and who can communicate accurately and efficiently. This position reports to the F&B Reservations Manager.EducationHigh school education or equivalent experienceExperience1 to 2 year of experience in restaurant, food and beverage, call centre or equivalent experience is requiredDesired SkillsHas a working knowledge of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating proceduresHas a solid knowledge and understanding of F&B Operations, food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accountingIs a good “judge” of people, quickly understands the environment and coaches others to improve long-term outcomesHas good business acumen, a strong work ethic and people-management and facilitation skillsHas strong leadership and interpersonal skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operationHas proven ability to manage multiple priorities with lean resources while delivering high-quality resultsHas the ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systemsIs proactive, hands on and able to operate autonomouslyRequires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English languageHas a positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approachHas the ability to anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest proactivelyIs energetic and has a professional approach to his/her craftIs flexible with his/her schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidaysKey FunctionsProcesses reservations by mail, telephone, fax or central reservation systems referralKnows the restaurants’ occupancy status and all the promotion’s benefitsCreates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival, outletsCommunicates reservation information to the outletsProcesses cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the concerned outletsProcesses advance deposits on reservations if neededPrepares the list of expected arrivals of VIPs and other reportsCalls to confirm and clear waitlisted reservationsRuns appropriate reports checking for special requests, informing Guest Relations Manager of any special attentionTracks future PDRs availabilities based on reservationsHelps develop PDRs revenue and occupancy forecastsPrepares expected VIPs arrival list for the outletsHandles daily correspondence. Responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed.Makes sure that files are kept up to dateMaintains a clean and neat appearance at work at all timesPromotes goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and fellow employeesGets information about areas of interest in order to target more clients in particular seasonsIs aware of all Reservation procedures and assist with restaurant duties when requiredHandles Credit Card Authorization form properlyParticipates in the sale of our Dining MembershipSupervises F&B Reservation to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met through all the guest interactionsHas the ability to provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contactsSupervises the operation in the absence of the manager/assistant manager, ensuring all service activities are in place and under controlCommunicates with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departmentsRemains calm and alert, especially during emergency situations, heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for the staff and other employeesSupports the entire Food and Beverage operation, including supervising other areas if necessaryCompletes special projects as instructedCommunicates with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voiceListens to understand requests, responds with appropriate actions and provides accurate informationComplies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPactWorks harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisorsVisa RequirementsMust already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.What to Expect: You Will…Be part of a cohesive team with opportunities to build a susccessful career with global potentialHave access to a robust benefit planHave the opportunity to engage in diverse and challenging workWe look forward to receiving your application!
