Read on for more details about this particular role.ResponsibilitiesImplements and executes trade operations and provides compliance oversight for MSA’s business in Morocco. Drives legal and regulatory compliance by providing import/export administration and controls in accordance with applicable government rules and regulations – specifically related to the requirements of a Temporary Admission (ATPA) regime. Adjusts / Designs and implements and relevant business processes and policies to ensure compliance, working together with internal and external business partners and functions.Initiates, manages and actively participates in cross-functional projects and initiatives supporting regional trade, customs, and supply chain objectives.Monitors changes in regional trade regulations and implement necessary process updates. Establishes policies and procedures.Provides expertise in managing Temporary Admission regime and trains internal and external (suppliers) resources in updated and new processes and requirements. Ensures correct use of Moroccan Customs’ provided tools in managing imports and exports.Collaborates with internal and external legal counsel to prepare, review, and provide data and documentation required for filings, disclosures, or communications with Customs and other governmental agencies related to trade compliance.Liaises, where applicable, with relevant ministries, Customs authorities, Chambers of Commerce, and other governmental agencies to support compliance requirements and facilitate efficient product flow.Work closely with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Legal, Finance, Logistics, and other relevant functions to align regional and global trade operations with business objectives and support strategic and operational initiatives.Acts as center point of contact for customs, customs brokers and suppliers to manage import and export processes and to mitigate any obstacles or bottlenecks. Manages and handles queries and issues as they surface in day to day import and export execution.Manages and facilitates internal and external (customs) audits.Manages maintenance of trading data in MSA tools (eg. SAP) works with relevant business partners to ensure data accuracy and alignment.Implement, monitor, and maintain regional metrics and KPIs to measure performance, compliance, and process effectiveness.QualificationsExperience and skills required:University degree in Business, Logistics or related fieldCustoms Broker License other Customs / Trade certification7 years of experience in Import / Export / Customs operations in MoroccoWide experience in operating with different Moroccan customs regimes, including Temporary Admission, in the textiles manufacturing industryExperience in day‑to‑day customs execution processes for import and exportAbility to foster teamwork and internal and external relationshipsCustomer focused with a commitment to complianceProven ability to work with variety of business groups, including supply chain, logistics, legal, procurement and financeExperience in managing customs auditsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFluent in French and Arabic, excellent skills in EnglishPlease submit your application along with an English resume.
