Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Allied Health Assistants Remuneration: $31.86 per hour + super Hours Per Week: 18 Location: John Hunter Children's Hospital Requisition ID: REQ618835 Applications Close: Monday, 1st December 2025 Where You'll Be Working The Formula Room Allied Health Assistants work with the dietitians to provide specialised infant and enteral formula and infant feeding equipment to inpatients of the John Hunter and John Hunter Children’s Hospital, 7 days a week service, on a rotating roster. They also support the paediatric dietitians by providing clinical and administrative support to facilitate client/ patient/ consumer care. The Allied Health Assistant will work under the direction of Allied Health professionals and act in accordance with the Allied Health Assistant guidelines. About The Role Working within a multidisciplinary team, tasks include taking formula/ EBM/ PDHM orders, preparation of specialised formula/ EBM/ PDHM using HACCP principles, labelling and distribution of formula and feeding equipment to the John Hunter Children’s Hospital and John Hunter Hospital. The successful candidate will be supported to actively engage in supervision and professional development activities.
